Bed skirt and iron bed
I had a lady ask me today about how to order a bed skirt when she had an antique iron bed with a footboard. This is the same for any poster bed, Cannon Ball Bed that is popular on the East Coast. (I had one when I lived in Pennsylvania growing up) As in the picture above it can be done, you have those side rails and wooden slates that your box spring sits on that you want to hide. When ordering a bed skirt you need to know what style you want, (ruffled or tailored) and you want to make sure it has split corners, That way the side rails where it attaches to the foot-board can also be “somewhat” covered as in the picture above and the bed skirt will be behind the foot-board (as in the picture) for a clean “trendy bed” look.
