I have come across some wonderful dream bedrooms that I wanted to share with my readers. If you’re like me, I love the visual aids of looking at a bedroom and take what I love about each one and try to incorporate that in my own room. Today’s message is Light the Fire, so if you have a fireplace in your bedroom tonight could be the night to lite it! Is there anything more romantic then laying side by side your loved one watching the sexy flame of the fire dancing while your laying on luxurious satin sheets? Make me comfortable. Make sure your bed is out fitted with an excellent mattress, box springs and pillows.

Make me sexy. Choose sheets that feel good against your skin. This is a personal choice; you may enjoy the feel and fun of satin sheets, or the comfort and luxury you get from a great set of Egyptian Cotton Sheets, it’s still cold outside and those Flannel Sheets are sounding very warm and inviting right about now. Your body will feel sexy with any one of these suggestions.

Make me decadent. Dress the bed with the plumpest duvet and pillows you can find and afford. Don’t worry, they won’t stay on the bed for long but what a first impression!

Now, I know not many of us have magnificent bedrooms like this one above BUT if your bedroom looks more like Grand Central Station than an oasis like the one above, you need to get to work. Relax, you don’t have to do a complete makeover, but a few simple changes can help set the stage for a memorable night.

First, get rid of the clutter!! It’s hard to concentrate on nibbling his ear if you’re distracted by clothes that need folding, bills that need paying, or the stack of overdue library books that you’re using as a bedside table.

When it comes to the bed, keep in mind that it is — or should be — the focal point of the room. (Unless you overlook Mount Rainier, Puget Sound, Central Park, Grand Canyon, or any other gorgeous view. Even so, the bed still trumps.) So treat your bed like a star and showcase it.
